About
Neofobic was born in freedom. Improvised material melted into organic compositions reminiscent of soundtrack of a mime motion picture or a cubist painting. With solid acoustic ground and vivid live sampling the music morphs serene ambient and abstract jazz scenes with no fear of eclectics.
Celebrated Norwegian audio wizards finalized the album.
Erik Honoré (Jon Hassell, Arve Henriksen, Eivind Aarset, David Sylvian) left his landmark in the mix creating subtle treatments and three-dimensionality. Helge Sten (Deathprod, Supersilent) had the final touch mastering the album.
The album was digitally released on Gubemusic.com owned by the renowned Norwegian pianist/producer Bugge Wesseltoft. It is available in FLAC 16 bits 44.1kHz with mp3 versions included.
Neofobic is the latest album/projects by Dimitar Bodurov (piano, live sampling and electronics) and Jens Dueppe (drums and percussion). Having more than 8 years of musical history together, their debut as a duo took place at the Keys and Stix Festival 2008, an initiative by Bodurov dedicated to creative piano/drums duets.
